Come visit the Open MPI member booths at SC06 and enter for a
chance to win one of eight iPod nanos! Get a playing
card from any Open MPI member booth, fill it with stamps from other
Open MPI member booths, and then enter it in the next drawing. Even
if you don't win an iPod nano, you can take home a free iPod nano
skin.
The Open MPI Project is an open consortium of leading academic and
industry organizations dedicated to producing a high-quality open
source implementation of the Message Passing Interface (MPI) standard.
The project is driven by the HPC research community and hardened by
industry vendors, resulting in a software package that uniquely
combines cutting-edge research with rigorous quality assurance and
testing. The Open MPI software is a true community effort--it is
written for the HPC community by the HPC community.
At SC06, we want to hear from everyone: end users,
application developers, academic researchers, system administrators --
anyone who might want to use Open MPI or learn more about it. Come
see us!
Over a dozen exhibit booths at SC06 are featuring Open MPI in
presentations, live demos, posters, and general Open MPI information
(see below for a list of activities). In addition, an Open MPI BOF is
scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at 12:15pm, and an interactive visual
Open MPI demo will be running in the HLRS booth (#239) all week. Here
