Open MPI is distributed under the modified BSD license. Here’s a link to the v1.8 LICENSE file:

    https://svn.open-mpi.org/trac/ompi/browser/branches/v1.8/LICENSE

As long as you abide by the terms of that license, you are fine.

The question is whether it is allowed to compile our project with OpenMPI (v1.8.2) and then distribute dynamically linked binaries? For instance, we can distribute (sale) our serial binaries compiled by GCC. But we are wondering now about OpenMPI.
