About the same as with blocking communication, I guess.

Would this do work for you?

start=MPI_Wtime()
MPI_Isend(...)
...
MPI_Irecv(...)
...
MPI_Wait[all](...)
end=MPI_Wtime()
print *, 'walltime = ', end-start
