As many of you know, the Portable Linux Processor Affinity (PLPA) project is deprecated; it has been wholly replaced by the Hardware Locality project (hwloc):

It is hard to imagine that we would ever have another release of PLPA.
As such, it is time to shut down the PLPA mailing lists.
The old mails will remain archived up on the main Open MPI web site for an indefinite period of time (meaning: there's no immediate plans to take them down, but you probably shouldn't count on them being there forever).
