I just added two new funclets that may make your INI files a little
cleaner:

- &get_gcc_version()
- &get_icc_version()

SVN up to the latest trunk and you'll get them.

These can replace the &shell(....) stuff that you may have had in
your compiler_version fields in the MPI install section. Other
compilers can certainly be added -- just let us know.
