Hi Jeff and Brad:

I rechecked my MTT machine, and found perfbase was not installed. I suppose
that's the reason why OMPI MTT database has *not* contained my MTT
execution info. If that's not the case or related, please correct me.

I downloaded perfbase from http://perfbase.tigris.org and installed it.
Four types of installations can be chosen:

perfbase stores its data in a PostgreSQL database. perfbase can be
installed in four variants that set different default values:
       1. PERSONAL INSTALL to initialize and run a 'personal' database
       server
          on the local machine.
       2. PERSONAL INSTALL to access an existing database server running
          on any machine.
       3. GLOBAL INSTALL for many users accessing their own database
       server.
       4. GLOBAL INSTALL for many users accessing the same database server.

I chose "2. PERSONAL INSTALL to access an existing database server running
on any machine" to install, and input "www.open-mpi.org" as PostgreSQL
database server, used default port 5432.

But then "perfbase info --all" gave following error

#* ERROR: could not access database server on host 'www.open-mpi.org:5432'.
error message: could not connect to server: Connection refused
Is the server running on host "www.open-mpi.org" and accepting
        TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

Is there any error in my configuration?

Thanks!

Wen Hao Wang

I don't see these results in the OMPI MTT database at all. The only
results I see from IBM in the past 7 days are from platform ibm_ia32
and some "undef" platform:

Are you sure that you submitted them?
