I am a 'sinner' out here. Though I had joined in for the project, as I
was working with OpenMPI at that point of time. However, I have
finished college and my current work does not have to do anything with
OpenMPI. Hence, I am one member (out of 3 or 4?) who hasn't done
anything good for the project.
If you are looking for a starting point, there are plenty IMO.
Perhaps, you will get better & concrete suggestions from Jeff, Richard.
